FAQS

Why can’t you buy my pots all year round?
I am a one-woman band and I do everything from making, glazing, firing and packing to social media and website maintenance and so it is much more efficient for me to work in cycles. My limited studio space means that I use certain work areas for several different jobs. For example, the table that I prepare clay and also mix glazes on, is also used for photography, none of which can happen simultaneously. So I work in phases, throwing, trimming, then firing and glazing before I get to the photography and selling part. Which is why I release work online 4-5 times a year with markets and fairs in between. If you would like to know when work will be available, sign up for my newsletter below.

I added a pot to my cart but it wasn’t there when I went to check out
I know from personal experience of trying to buy other potters’ work that this is frustrating but it is how the Squarespace shop is set up. It works on a first come, first served basis, so putting something in your basket does not reserve it for you. Only checking out does that. If someone else has the same pot in their basket and checks out first, I am afraid it belongs to them.
