Shipping & Returns

Christmas 2024 Last Posting Dates
As you will appreciate, Christmas is a busy time and so please ensure that any orders that are needed for Christmas are placed by midday Monday 18th December. Any order placed after these dates will still be sent but will not arrive in time for Christmas.

Shipping
I currently only ship within the UK but will be looking at international shipping in early 2025. I am sorry to say that I will not be able to ship to Europe (including Northern Ireland), for what seems like the foreseeable future. As of 13th December 2024, the new GPSR law comes into force which requires all businesses shipping to Europe to have a representative based there to ensure compliance. This, of course is not financially possible for a lot of small businesses including mine. Hopefully, a work-around will be revealed at some point but in the meantime the joys of Brexit continue to reveal themselves.

All orders are sent from my small home studio, and it is just me fulfilling them. Ceramics take a long time to pack due to their relatively fragile nature and so this can take a little time to do properly. I do my best to send out as soon as possible, and if there are any delays in sending your order, I will let you know. Once your order has shipped you will receive an automated email with a tracking number which you can use to check your parcel’s progress.

I use Royal Mail Tracked 24 service which aims to deliver the next working day but they state it can take up to two days at busy periods.

Lost or Delayed Parcels
If your parcel is delayed or you suspect it is lost, please use your tracking number in the first instance. If this is unsuccessful, I will try to help but this can take time. Macbeth Ceramics is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. Please submit a safe address and communicate with your carriers about deliveries. Once the package shows as delivered, I am unable to obtain additional information from our partner carriers. Please note that I have the right to ask for another postage address or cancel your order if I suspect the address you provide is not a secure address. For example, I will not post to a communal workplace address unless it is agreed in writing (I will contact you via email) that you are responsible for the loss of the parcel if it is signed for by a colleague and subsequently goes missing.

Local Collection
If you live locally to Uttoxeter, Staffordshire and would like to collect your order in person, please select this option at checkout and I will be in touch to arrange a date and time.

Packing Materials
Getting your pots from me to you in one piece takes a lot of packing materials but everything I use is recyclable and I encourage its reuse wherever possible. On some rare occasions you may receive an order with some plastic bubble wrap but please be reassured that this is material that I have saved from previous deliveries or from when we moved house and I only use it for large multiple pot parcels where cushioning between pieces is essential.

Returns

I hope that you will love any pots you order from me but just in case I offer a 14-day return policy. If for any reason you are not happy with your order, please email me at hello@macbethceramics.co.uk providing your order number and the reason for the return. I will then send you an authorisation number and instructions on how to return your item.

Any pots returned must be in their original condition, with all packaging intact. I reserve the right to refuse any return that does not meet these conditions. Shipping costs for all returns are the customers responsibility.

Once I have received your returned order, I will process your refund within 5-7 working days. Refunds will be issued via the original payment method.

Any items bought as seconds or samples are considered final sale and won’t be eligible for returns.
